Accent Reduction Institute (ARI), LLC is a small business headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI. ARI is devoted to creating seamless communication required in a global workforce. We are committed to developing language technology tools and instructional training programs that meet the needs of non-native English speakers. Based on the Ravin Method® of rapid and long term language acquisition, and exclusive to ARI, our customized programs rapidly build proficiency in English pronunciation while allowing participants to maintain their unique cultural identities. These high level skills enhance employees’ foundational knowledge of English as a second language, thus enabling them to gain human capital.
Programs are delivered either as live training, a combination of live and interactive distance learning modalities (virtual classrooms) or exclusively via distance learning. Course content is comprised of the articulation techniques necessary to pronounce all standard American English vowel and consonant sounds, as well as patterns of rhythm, stress, and intonation used in everyday speech. Moreover, each course is customized to contain industry specific terms and phrases. ARI is a highly credentialed team of university professors, linguists, speech pathologists, and software design experts that create essential communication competencies. All ARI instructors are certified in the Ravin Method®.
