New QAS Self Study Designation
An Application to Transition to the QAS Self Study Designation Now Available! The revised Standards raise the standards for all self study providers and eliminate the differences that previously existed between the QAS and Registry self study requirements. Accordingly, NASBA initiated changes to the administration of these programs to offer one designation for self study programs -- QAS Self Study. If you are a current QAS or Registry self study sponsor, you may begin the transition process now!
Great News for NASBA Sponsors!

NASBA and the National Registry of CPE Sponsors have been approved by the IRS as a qualified accrediting organization! As such, sponsors will only be required to complete a simple registration process with the IRS in order to obtain a continuing education provider number. Looking to provide continuing education to more than 400,000 Registered Tax Return Preparers? You have come to the right place!
